I was on the Gothic when Williams was Captain I was AB and I recall the Ship hitting the dock on Antwerp resulting iin some repairs\
we then went to Hull where h hit the dock once again maybe tha is why he only did one trip,

#34 Ships always got bad names with the shipping Federation Des, when they had any trouble on board but instead of sending good steady men on crew change day, they used to send down to vessel any stirrers they had on their books to see if could palm off elsewhere.
