Allso went there for refreshers course 1975? 2 weeks I think left there joined the Pendennis Castle great ship

Hi, was atLiverpool for 2nd cooks ticket in 87 then cheif cooks in 89, spent alot of the time in the Eagle, over the road, there was a instructor chef called Billy, had a red nose,we would all be waiting for him to finish his pint at 1.55pm after lunch in the pub, there were 2 things he would say at this point, lets get back lads, or whose round is it, you could still be sat thre at 4pm with no afternoon class!

Was at plncc in canning place for a year in 1972, great times, having a pint in the eagle or the pub in litherland alley the flying dutchman i think. Great learning went chief cook with shaw savill at 20, found out after i left i had come second best student of the year arthur beggs memorial prize mum and dad got invited to college to view the roll of honour above refectory door (wonder where it is now) won twenty quid to spend on books and clobber in wh smith and that jewish merchant navy clothes shop by the college can,t quite think of name right now,
great teachers mr sinnott,mr roberts (bakery) mr rusk (my tutor) mr taylor. Went back there over the years for chief cooks certificate and higher grade cooks certificate good old days.
Currys on friday were brilliant

Dear sir or madam I was wondering if you could assist me it was about 1978 or 1979 where I done my chefs training in Liverpool nautical catering college where I got my certificate but I lost them years ago but I need them for to get lwork to prove that I did go to college I worked for Irish ferries and my name is Anthony Fitzmaurice and I lived in coolock Dublin at the time I know the college is gone ages but I was wondering if anyone would know if I would be able to get them I would be so grateful if you might be able to give me some advice thanking you I remain yours sincerely Anthony Fitzmaurice

All my certificates of competency were formally entered in my discharge book by a B.O.T. officer including my various cooking tickets, have you got your discharge book?
