    Hello
My dad, Frank Marsden from Huddersfield, was a Vindi boy, joining in January 1946. Would your friend remember him perhaps?

I was at the Vindi 1959 in the catering section. I enjoyed smoking my first cig - Domino's 4 in a paper packet bought at the seaman's mission I've forgotten the price - on the upper deck sheltering from the wind blowing off the Severn. I enjoyed fishing in the canal, sea pie and singing the Vindi songs.

Jim Ditchburn. R753438. I was at Vindi in 1960. After training I joined MV Thistleroy in Sunderland and was on her for two trips.

    Hi Vernon.
Not a relative but a good friend from the N.S.W. Vindi association, we were brother Don and brother Des to everyone. He lived up the central coast so to far to attend his funeral .
