    Remember that winter.
    We were in Durban for Christmas when we heard about the snow.
    Got back to UK four weeks later and on the train for London the snow got deeper as we travelled .
    Sailed out a week later, got back mid March and it was still there.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

    Life is too short to blend in.

    #17...I live in a village in W,A. Where also lives a citizen one Terry Rumens who was also there in 1946. If this rings any bells let’s know and will let him know.. his first ship was the Fort Chesterfield. Regards JS.
