Re: Any Information required
First of all Thank You from the bottom of my heart, I am completely blown away by the detail that you have managed to find on my Dad and Grandfather. I just have asked the National archives for a copy of the Record but I am not sure how to extract the info for the CRS ? Again I feel quite humble that you have helped me find out about my Dad.Thanks Again Alex
Re: Any Information required
Hello Alex
The CRS10 Documents are best obtained in person by visiting Kew
otherwise you may have to get e researcher to do it for you and that costs !
Wish you well anyway try and keep us informed!
Cheers

Re: Any Information required
I trust the name and background is no relation to Lord Balfour who was responsible for the division of Palestine after the Second World War with the Balfour Agreement.?? JWS

Thanks for your great research, my uncle Richard I am led to believe was on the HMS Thuringia an ASW trawler ? lost at sea 28.5.1940 ? if that is so then both my uncle and Grandfather were already lost when my Father went to sea?.
