Hi Terry,
I shared a cabin with you for over a year with a guy from Fleetwood. I was a was a complete rookie and you helped me. I have photos of you racing in a deck obstacle course.
Happy Days.

Hi Chris,
Just found your group photo on the Lucknow - I'm the tallest one in the middle! Great pic and brings back lots of happy memories of my time on the Lucknow. Subsequently did one SA trip on the Hull before spending almost 2 years on the City of Melbourne on the MANZ run - could have stayed on her forever. Happy days.
Hope all is well with you - I'm just getting older.
Very best wishes,

Not an answer to your post but I recall Capt. B T Wortley as being Blue Ensign Master of the big four's 'City of Durban' - he was an absolute gent, totally old-school of the ivory-tower mold but this was how things were then. I was a skinny and horrible 2nd trip deck-cadet who made all the mistakes possible and then some but I always remember 'Bertrand Theodore Wortley' with total respect.
Thought this ships plaque might bring back memories
