Possibly wrong but think that after closing they turned the sea training college closed they turned it into a police training college.

Hi Lee. I was at Gravesend around 1970-71. I was in the catering department, I was nicknamed Jock as I was from Glasgow, we also had Arsenal,who supported. The team , we had Paddy and Taff,great bunch of guys.my discharge book was R902093. My name is Robert Reilly. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
