Navy days pompey.

Hi All went over the dockyard yesterday to see what was goiing on and walked passed every one and straight thru with out paying not even challanged for a ticket or pass. had a pretty good arfter noon on board all the ships and looking round the dockyard , even a few tots of free rum.So much for security even with cops with guns.Any one else got in any where for a freebe or the like. Ill put some pics inthe gallery . All the best BILL BE GOOD.

I used to live in Pompey amazed they still have navy days, When I left the MN I lived in London and Joined the Parchate Reg Res moved back to pompey and joined The Royl marines res at Eastney, Lords of the Admerlty found out I was Ex MN and sent me to RNR Southampton to Mine sweepers, Used to sail out of HMS Vernon somtimes. Very supprised when i went back to the UK after 16 Years away and found not only Venon gone but halfe the Dockyard gone. The pubs I used to know all closed down , Do not know what to think And now Pompey have been relgated what can one say.
