Default Aircraft carrier in the tyne

Don't think there has been a aircraft carrier in the tyne since ark royal was launched but today hms queen Elizabeth is in the tyne for a visit.

She was berthed at Northumbria quay where the cruise liners berth. Only there for the day but the next day was still somewhere off the Tyne. Now HMS dauntless is in the tyne.
This got me wondering whether British naval vessels visit a u.k commercial port do they pay harbour dues, pilotage, towage etc and do they appoint an agency to handle port disbursements in the same manner as any commercial vessel.
