Hopefully she will sail calm waters and never be involved in a conflict.!!!

The Americans have just had a new ship named outside of the States here in Aus, She has been named the Canberra in memory of the Australian ship the Canberra sunk in the Pacific in the second world war, what they failed to say was that the Canberra was torpedoed by an American destroyer. The last surviving member of the Canberra who is 99 was not invited to the ceremony, he was interviewed by one TV station and was bitter about how the fact his ship was sunk by the Yank destroyer had not been mentioned at the ceremony.
