The Dog was wearing the Royal Navy Cap marked "Carnarvon Castle" how cute.
That was one of Union Castle Line Ships that served with the RN During WW2

He was a legend, I have seen the statue and it was a magnificent Memorial to a DOG.
Hope they catch the thieves and cut parts of their body off.
