Default New ships for the navy

Thought we used to have a couple of these types of ships but they were retired/scrapped some years ago as being obsolete. If the navy were to go ahead with these just where would they be built?

Capability still exists on Clyde, Tyne, Barrow, Rosyth; but my faith in government is such that it would be in China, probably, with some disingenuous politician trying to justify it.

Don't forget Cammell Laird on the Mersey they have built many RN ships and also sections of both HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Prince of Wales.

See laird's have just launched a new ferry for red funnel, the i.o.w ferry outfit.
    Also
Not forgetting A &P on the Tyne who after delivery on time and at cost of there section for the first carrier got the contract for sections for the second carrier cancelled to appease politicians from other ship building constituencies.
