I wonder if they will show you the large empty aircraft hangar or put large cardboard cutouts there who said this is where our aircraft will be when they're eventually developed and delivered

Rob, we may laugh at such things but to my mind nay armed forces numbers should be kept quiet.
Why let the enemy know your position?

an old friend in the Falklands conflict always insisted that airborne bombs failed to detonate until the BBC announced that the fuses were incorrectly set , after that the bomb detonation improved

I remember that was it not this chap who did the reporting one of his famous lines was I counted them out and I counted them back, I think the reference was to the Harriers going out on operations.

I think from Vietnam onwards we all want to see exactly what was happening on the front line I did be perfectly honest I think sometimes is better kept quiet until after the event

Rob, since the Vietnam war I am of the opinion the public are only allowed to know what the powers that be want them to know and it is often not the truth.
I am also of the opinion that many of the global conflicts, such as Vietnam, are between USA and Russia but fought on another filed of some other smaller country.
