    Default Hope they do well.

Hi All. I work as a Chef and have 1 female owner of the Hotel plus 4 female Managers, they all have different idear's of what they want... it drives me around the bend trying to please them all, so I hope when they start working on Submarines that that all read from the same book..... Take care..... Terry.

Torpedo tubes and boob tubes, just hope they do not mix them up!

It would be great if they were short of water and you had to shower with a shipmate.
With my luck it would be a big hairy 4r5ed Stoker.

Sorry, lads, but I can't resist putting my 2 cents worth here. Personally, one of the last places in the world I'd ever want to be is on a submarine. I can see both sides of this coin, though, and I think the women should be given a chance. No doubt there will be problems. Just sit back and wait for the sexual harrassment complaints to voice themselves... This is the world we live in.

The girls should consider themselves lucky. They will not have to go down the tubes looking for the golden rivet!

The only thing that worries me is potentially having a female commander in charge of a nuclear sub at the wrong time of the month. Now no disrespect to the ladies but you are not all exactly sweetness and light during those periods and occassionally some have been known to get a little stressed and do the odd irrational thing

Can't necessarily disagree with you too much there, Tony, except I would think if they've achieved that level of rank, they've probably already got a pretty good handle on their emotions at the time of the month in question. I wouldn't think one would last too long in any type of military or equally serious service if one was completely erratic for 5 to 7 days every month!
