Royal mail lines
Joined almonzora 1946 on medlock run bringing troops home from egypt.
Joined astruias 1947 on post war maiden imirgrates to australia left her in1949 joined r.n 22years to pension
Was working in laundry on both ships, started as laundry boy on Almonzora, laundryman on Asturias finishing up as2nd laundryman on Asturias.
