    Default Commemorate Bomber Command

Commemorate all those who so bravely served in Bomber Command by joining us at our Virtual Anniversary Service at 11am on 31 October. The service will include prayers, readings and a short history of Bomber Command by RAF Author and Historian Steve Darlow, with a particular focus on Bomber Commandís often forgotten activities during the Battle of Britain.

VIA: RAF Benevolent Fund - Bomber Command Memorial Service.

    Doc:
Earlier today they held a virtual service of Remembrance from the Bomber Command Memorial in Green Park paying tribute to all those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Second World War.
The service, held annually, pays tribute to the 55,573 men of Bomber Command who were killed during the Second World War. Coronavirus restrictions meant the event had to be staged virtually this year.
The service was led by Reverend (Squadron Leader) Chrissie Lacey from RAF High Wycombe and hosted by the lovely Sue Holderness.
