Re: Spitfre Pilot in WW11 [For Doc]
Thank you for this Link Marian
Indeed very interesting watching the good old Spitfires, still to me one of the finest Fighting Airplanes of the time!
Saw quite a few of those when in the RAF,and of course my late Uncle Wing Commander T de T MacDonald (My late Fathers younger Brother) who was also a Fighter Pilot in WW2.
Many thanks again
Cheers

What a great story and video, I think I've mentioned this before that I used to watch the Spits taking off
during the war at Fairlop Aerodrome, they used to nearly take our chimney pots of and wave at the same time.

Re: Spitfre Pilot in WW11 [For Doc]
I spent most of my childhood in Kingston on Thames. Was brought up in the belief that William Joyces (Lord Haw Haw) brother was a spitfire pilot. He supposedly committed harry karry. Was supposedly living not too far from Richmond Park close to where I lived. JS
