Hallo Shena. Can you clarify if possible the Halo. I have 3 casualties on file. One is very old, occurring in 1884. The second is a US steam tanker lost in 1942,and the 3rd is a British cargo ship lost after being torpedoed in Jan 45-but there were no crew losses on that one. Can you clarify?

Re: ss halo
Michael McDonald from the Isle of Barra was killed on 21.3.1941 along with 3 other shipmates aboard the ss HALO official number 143426 built in 1919, Port of Registry, London. The ship hit a mine on the River Thames off Beckton pier. She was later refloated and beached at Woolwich.
Regards
Hugh
