Searching for my late Dad's former crewmates
Hello all, I joined this site to try to find out a bit more about my late Father's service in the Navy. His name was Kevin Patrick McGuire and he was born in Pontefract Yorkshire in 1949. He sadly passed last year and never got around to telling me all his wild stories. Perhaps the main thing that I miss about him is the crazy tales he told me of life on submarines and the practical jokes that his fellow sailors would play on him and vice versa. He was in his late teens to mid-'20s when he enlisted so I'm guessing that he joined up in the mid-1970s and he chose to travel Europe. I would love to hear from anybody who served with him as there is now a void of missing information since his untimely passing.

Re: Searching for my late Dad's former crewmates
Hello Molly
As i read this your dear Dad was in the Royal Navy if on Subs.
There is not a lot of info on RN Documentation here, and is difficult to find .
I hope that you may by chance get a reply or two on this, but its a long shot!
But never know!
Best of luck
I will look around and see if i can come up with anything!
