Hi Clodagh, Don't know where Doc got the 1967 date from you'll have to wait till this evening for his reply. The 1983 one was from your tree. If you send for that death cert at least it will confirm eitherway and should provide further info. I used that to search but can't find him as a Doctor [of what?] or in the MN or anywhere else for the matter. After many amalgamations the Ellerman Lines ceased to exist by 2004.

Have tried looking via his birth and marriage certs and believe he had three children from that marriage if I am on the right path. Have a few trees open at present looking for clues. Those connections are usually a good source for photographs, cert's and family snippets which may lead to where he settled after Ireland. I can FWD that privately if you prefer and will only print any MN details here 'tis a work in progress... though any further details would be most welcome and save me time. Still searching different MN sites but as Doc suggested earlier applying to The National Archives at Kew may provide his ships if those records have survived. Please confirm if you want me to continue? Thank you. Marian

Hi Clodagh, Have found a 'JJ Gray with his wife Dorothy [Ita]' in Canada, awaiting on the arrival of their first two children, 6yr old daughter and 11mth old son travelling on the Queen Mary from Southampton 1946. Previous address: 365, Hurst Rd, Bexley Kent. Does any of this sound familiar? Doesn't give a Canadian address. Have the original ships document to send if correct???

    Marian,

This is absolutely fabulous. The only problem is no matter how large I magnify these records I can't read them. Can you tell me where you found them or could you possibly email them to me? Really appreciate this!

    Kindest regards,

    Clodagh
