There was a leprosarium in Darwin harbour which was still in operation in the 1970's and I think it closed in the 1980's. Word got around that they were throwing old limbs over the cliff, into the harbour so we took the pilot boat over to check out the story. It was true enough, but what had not been added is that they were the old worn out artificial limbs.
The site was close to the old Catalina landing site and repair shops, and you pass it on the way to the new port of Darwin.

It would appear there are now TWO ships with crew who have the Virus heading for Freeo.
Fine as long as they stay on board, but problem is some will need hospitalization, just hope the authorities allow them suitable treatment.

The Occassion of these foreign flag ships with sick crew members now is the time for any journalist worth his salt should interrogate those with the knowledge, who pays for the medical assistance.? In all fairness and what is expected in shipping today is that the owner has every member insured for such, and if this is not the case then anyone of the past present and future generations should be put in the picture . This if not present on some of these lower paid crews should be made public, and the general public made aware of the fact. If they arenít covered then the unions should step in and clarify why they arenít. When one signs on a ship you become somebodies responsibility whilst in their employ . So any journalist reading this many people would like to know the truth once in a while. Instead of shouting wolf find out the facts first and print them properly and not ad lib. JS.

It seems that no country except maybe the USA no longer has a quarantine place for confinement, I know that the big one at the Heads on Sydney harbour would have been an ideal place to hold these Covid cases, now they are scrambling to build them elsewhere; after commercializing them. In Australia all incoming should have landed on Xmas Island until cleared.
