Richard Hamilton Jones, SS Falaba, 1915
Prompted by Armistice Day, I am trying to find more information and ideally a photo of a relative, my great uncle.
Richard Hamilton Jones died following the sinking of the SS Falaba in 1915. He was an assistant purser.
He was born in Liverpool and lived in Moses St. He was only 20 when he died so left no partner or children and no photos of him survive.
We would love to find out more about him and see what he looked like. I know nothing about the merchant navy so do bear with me.
Any information would be welcome by my family and I, thank you

Afraid to get a Pic of him would be near impossible as he died at Sea however if there is any other record on him such as a CRS10 you may get lucky at the Southampton Archives, Or possibly the National Archives??
Cheers

I have also emailed the project at Liverpool John Moores university researching Elder Dempster so they may have something. Cross fingers!
