Welcome
Hi, can anybody tell me what the abrieviation F. or H.T. mean which is point (11) on a CRS2 Merchant Navy Personnel document. My father was on a ship called the Blairdevon in 1944 and he was given 'F'. I had one thought that F might mean 'Full Trip' and H.T. "Half Trip". Also on this same form point (13) Voyage Report. He was given what looks like 'VC VG'. Having never been to sea I'm totally lost with this 'naval language'. Many thanks if you can help. Ken Thompson.

Not sure who I'm replying to, if its Doc Vernon or the member R69730, but who ever you are thanks very much indeed. Although I haven't been at all active on the site since posting my thread, I have to admit I found it hard to navigate around the site and I didn't realise that I had received a reply. Ken Thompson.
