Re: Hampton Lodge Merchant Navy Ship 1942
Thank you Hugh for your information. I have contacted Gibraltar Archives to see if they have any information but no reply as yet. I have also contacted National Achives KEW UK. The information I copied did not help. I have my dad’s medals. The number G127732 is sown on page 2 of his discharge book under his last name reads service NYN or M/N G127732. Not sure what that means?
Keith mentioned maybe he was hospitalized? Hopefully Gibraltar will provide some answers.
Again thank you for your interest.

Re: Hampton Lodge Merchant Navy Ship 1942
My Disch Book page 2 has only Surname and Disch book number, but page 2 and 3 have Nat Health Insurance number that looks like NI.NO, might be the way shown in the post. Page 3 reads Society L'Pool Vic and membership No. G/2185219. Could that number have been put in wrong place?
Just a thought. Good luck shipmates.

Re: Hampton Lodge Merchant Navy Ship 1942
Thanks Eric: Nat Health Insurance number / NI.NO, sounds very likely, should help much if Terry looks in again.
Interesting and touch wood a great answer though Terry has not posted for a long while, hope he may do soon and update..
