Hi trying to trace john micheal moores a relation to a good friend of mine Kathy moores .we think he served on the Sara Bowater in the late 50s and possibly 60s
He lived in Birmingham in the early 50s and was born in Wales 1928 .thankyou

Thankyou both for your fantastic help it is Kathys father she lost touch with him when she was a young child 60 years ago and as been looking for him since this is a real break through for her .possibly needs a visit to the national archives to view the records maybe there will be a link of were he lived possibly thanks again and well done x

In his Documents at the NA there may be record of his old address if that will help!

Thanks I did try that website searchcombinecrews but its asking for official number to submit ?
Any idea what number have tried R342796 no good thanks

No they want the official Ships Numbers!
That's another search ,if you have a list of any Ships you can post them and I will look up the Off Numbers of the ones I can!
