discharge book number
[/HTML] hi Folks
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
My grandfather sailed on TSS Vandyke (Vandyke3) and was on in March/April1937 After that I have no details of him and all family of that generation have died. he was born in 1905 name William Henry Nicholson Liverpool UK
My thinking is -: that if I get his discharge number I find out any other ship he sailed on .
Can anyone help please ?

Re: discharge book number
Hello Judith
If his CRS10 (Seamans Documents) still exist you may find it at Kew at the National Archives in
Reference:
BT 382/1321
Description:
Nicholson William to Nicol W W
The above covers all names in that series shown!
And if available will have list of Ships he served on with other info as well
So best to go personally to Kew if you can and do a search through that Ref Number!
Or you may just know someone there who could help you do that search! As I see you are in Greece!???
Best of Luck!
Just some info that may be of interest
