that dose,nt sound right as I served on her in dec 59 to april 60 as the dunkery beacon , it was gross 8748.89 and net 4795.22 same picture as capt kong posted .

Dunkery Beacon. Sold in 1955 to R Simberg, Finland and renamed Rissa. Sold in 1961 to Paulins Rederi A/B, Finland and renamed Augusta Paulin. Scrapped in May 1969 in Shanghai.

Think Tony would be right as this one was sold in 55 and became Rissa.

the top one was the one I served on in 9 to 60, remember he well a diverse crew ,just the catering and officers were british . she was not a modern ship like he one on the bottom .

nowhere can you find a mention of the fact that the british lost far more souls in this war than any other country.
