Re: Stuart prince
#49 your lucky Des . In the meantime I’ve been sitting on tenterhooks awaiting to see if I have to sit a driving test, however new licence came through the post last week. So safe for another year. Pay for our petrol though , but do get a few hundred off the home power supplies gas and electric. Was going to ask them for a beer allowance but thought better not. Cheers JS

Re: Stuart prince
HI John Melbourne.
Yes just in NSW. Berigiklian first brought it in when she made such a rickets over the Ruby Princess, thought it may help in an election, our new one after his stuff up of opening up everything and being an idiot in general has now done the same thing, but only for seniors.
Jon S.
We get a big discount for power, and a discount for the phone, something one doesn't get with a mobile. Up the RSL my wife gets an hospitality allowance which pays for our meals, and we get points to spend on beer, it's been a long time since I payed for a beer, but it all works out on the pokies, but we come out well in front.

Now that’s what I call a good life style. Those pokies make all the difference , we don’t have here only at the Casino. Cheers JS

Re: Stuart prince
Well John to some extent you are lucky, lot get into trouble with the pokies.
But we get concessions on water, gas , electric, rates, motor registration, and a once a year free rail travel if we want to use it.
Driving license no test requirements at age but after 75 only 5 year, not ten at a time.
But at the last new one they stuffed up so I got a ten year one at 76.
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Re: Stuart prince
I forgot to mention the Free Rego and licence, but we have to have an eye test every year and a driving test every two.
