    Default Forgotten Fleet... PORT LINE.

I recieve the magazine "SHIPPING" it is a monthly magazine. and on the front Page is the Port Vindex with the title of "forgotten fleet Port Line". As far as I am concerned, I will never forget the Port Boats that I sailed on, and the good times that I had. I sailed with some great people while in the Catering Dept, ( where are they now??? ). I still find it very interesting when a Port Line comment comes up on the web page. Take care all of you ex- Port Line lads and the M.N. that we once had...... Terry

    Default All Lines too!

    Hello Terry
Yes like many other Lines too that have over the years just dissapeared into thin Air!
Isnt it a shame that all those lovely Liners etc are now just a distant memory in our minds!
But as you say we will no matter which Line we served with always have such fond ,memories of not only the Ships but the good mates we once knew!
As you so righty say "Where are they all now"
Sadly a lot of them would now be gone forever too,but i hope that there are still many out there that may not know of this site, but at least are living a good life with much happiness!
Good on you one and all Ex Mercahnt Seaman!

Mine of course being the good old Union Castle Liners! (The Lavender Fleet)
