Matt Hancock
You have to give it to politicians for barefaced statements. Matt Hancock has stated that the journalist who was writing an article for him, and had access to all his texts, one Isabel oakshott, has betrayed him, wonder what his ex-wife would think of his betrayal ??, this was the guy caught on cctv groping his so called assistant in his office in parliament. Talk about morals, i don't think they even know how to spell it. Thats the end of his politics i think, the knives are out for him.

Re: Matt Hancock
I wouldn't trust any of them, including the so called "journalist" and particularly their thumbs.

Re: Matt Hancock
I rather like Isabel Oakshott and her other half Richard Tice and usually agree their political points having watched them both on TV. At first I thought imagine taking Matt Hancock on and his insignificant and tiresome persona but perhaps she sussed an opportunity too good to miss!
Just my view

Re: Matt Hancock
I have no time for either of them Marian, but when he makes statements like that, are we supposed to feel sorry for him, i just feel for his wife, how she must feel watching that cctv footage, he's a rat, and so is the journalist, but then we don't expect very high standards from all of them this* other country called Westminster*.

Re: Matt Hancock
Agree Keith re his wife and children and probably well rid though they may not share that view at present.
When I hear of anyone appearing on these so called ''celeb shows'' [which I don't give house room to] then I believe the end is nigh

Re: Matt Hancock
It appears to be a common trait amongst all MP.
Some must think that because of their position they are exempt from the rules that govern the rest of us.
We have had similar here in Oz, a sexual event in an office, two years later the female complains.
Goes to court, no result so the man goes free.

Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Re: Matt Hancock
We are having police officers being exposed on a regular basis and sadly there was a horrible murder last year by a London met officer and now more recently an officer who for a long time was on the security detail at Westminster. This a hole has been done for multiple rapes.
I am waiting on a WPC making a sexual harassent complaint against another WPC has to have happened!!
The London met police force seems to have more than it's fair share of sexual preditors, Sadly this gets genuine police officers tarnished by association.
Um!!! CRESSIDA Dick is the first openly gay commissioner of the Metropolitan Police a lot of these offences would have appeared to have happened during her time in charge.

Re: Matt Hancock
The mistake we all make is to imagine those with power and influence think the same way as the majority of people. They don't.
In their world of entitlement lying, cheating and back stabbing is normal behaviour.
Matt Hancock has proved to be the dumbest politician in a party made up of those slightly less dumb than him.
Handing over all the communications sent and received during the pandemic to a woman who had released private information previously was not a good career move.
Isabel Oakshott has said it was in the national interest to stab him in the back. It has not been revealed how much she was paid for the information by the Daily Telegraph.

Re: Matt Hancock
James7, the met police has a history of corruption, abuse etc going back many many years, different Heads have tried to clear it up, all failed. With all the news regarding police and Fire service, i no longer tell people i was a fire fighter for 30 years, i retired 30 years ago, long before the latest scandalous news, and can only shake my head in disbelief, decent policemen must also feel as i do. I do believe this modern world of mobile phones, even the internet is capable of allowing damaging content, and young brains can be turned with porn etc, what ever came of treating women with respect?.

Re: Matt Hancock
We have just had a prominent opposition MP resign, when he was in Govt he used to take his chief of staff; a woman away with him, which they all do, but they were sharing a bed, didn't resign when in Govt getting to much money, but had to after the Govt had to pay her in the region of $300,thousand. Don't know what his wife and children thought of it. He was so up himself while in power.
