I think John thinks we are all doomed in UK,and living a miserable life, well, i don't know about most people, but i am very happy where i,m at. Either that or his relatives here are poking charlie with him.

Here in Oz due to a large number of floods there is a severe shortage of spuds.
No frozen chips anywhere and told it will take up to 3 months for supplies to resume.
McCain tried to import some but failed and we were told there is a world wide shortage of spuds.

Clubs and restaurants get some on a ration basis.
