An early general election, there are 2 political parties that do not want an early general elections. The CONservative Party and the Labour Party.

The CONservative know they will get battered in the next general election. The Labour Party are in no rush truth be known. They are happy to let the current government deal with the public sector strikes, also hopefully the CONservatives will push taxes higher and higher so Labour cannot be blamed for being the party of high taxation.
Let's face it would you if you were Sir Keir Stammer want to take on the mess this lot will be leaving when voted out.

good afternoon, You hit the nail on the head with the kinnocks, As you know both of them worked for the EU and neil kinnock i believe overseen the auditing of the budget that never took place and the books have never balanced since , i remember they took about fifteen million out of the EU in salaries and pensions after they left, Not bad for a labour minister who was against more europe obviously the job bribe changed his and her minds, After they left his son stephen took up the baton and he married i believe the millionair ex prime minister of denmark and she became a EU devotee, stephen kinnock can be seen and heard banging on about returning to europe to this day. most likely he will be the labour spokes person on europe for-rejoining the eu if they ever get into power once again, the last word on the subject is the smell of corruption from both ends of labour and the conservatives in their dealings with europe is palpable and does not stand up to investigation on any level, so why are we taken in by their bullsh*te.

Here in Oz an outgoing minister can do very well, most get a posting as an Australian ambassador to some wealthy country or are taken in by some big company who pay them enormous sums to do just about bugger all.

They earn a fortune once out of the game and do it in a much easier fashion than any true worker, big bickies in or out of politics.
