Thank you Veron, and you Ivan for your most timely comment.
No matter where we live on this planet, no matter how the politics of the country in which we live may to some be in trouble, we are now all members of the global village. What happens in one may well follow on to another.
Politics of any country can be a dangerous game with many falling along the way.
But as a member of the global village I will use my rights to free speech to offer what information I may glean to members of this great site.
I might add I was not passing comment, just reporting what I had heard.
I may also add that as my wife and I are both recipients of a UK state pension, paid for by NHS and Graduated contributions, and with family and friends still there I have every right to take note of UK politics.
