    Default Reporting yhe news

Well the 2 storms have been and mostly gone leaving a lot of damage and destruction.
Yesterday all the news channels were warning people to stay safe, not venture outside as there could be considerable danger to life, yet all the reporters were standing as close to the sea, out in rain absolutely bucketing down and still advising the public to not venture out in these terrible and dangerous conditions.
They were warning about winds that could be a danger to life if you were in certain areas with nearly unprecedented conditions, yet they feel they have to be there to tell us these things
Why do they have to be so idiotic when covering these events and do they really have to be on the spot when telling the public not to do so?

Guess it is a bit harrowing for them Trevor, but that in the way that things are and have been done for Years now! Fortunately that there have been few that have actually got Killed or Hurt, but some of course have! I think at times though some of the Reporters quite like the Danger in it
But as you say it is a bit on the silly side!
Gee was watching the News here and some places they showed People that were literally taken off their feet like little Rag dolls being tossed around! At one place there were quite a few on what looked like a Pier and boy some were lucky not to have got washed over the Railings! Now that was silly in such Gales and Waves, being on a Pier so close to the Storms!

Our niece and husband live on the south coast, lost some fences as did a couple of neighbors, lucky to escape any serious damage.
Sure was one hell of a blow
