I see the `austrians have come up with a good idea, all those who have not had a jab, are to go into lock down, will obviously take some policing, but if the punishment is severe they will have second thoughts about going out, and if they go out it won't be enjoyable keeping a eye out all the time. Could work here, but we are too soft

Here in Oz about 93% fully done on all over 12 before the end of the month.

Most people are doing the right thing, but as is always the case the few idiots who will not comply.

We are both well known at the local club and go there flor dinner most Saturday nights.
Same guy on the door who has seen our vaccination validity, but still we have to show each time.

Numbers of cases fluctuates but the number in hospital, ICU and on ventalators continues to drop.
All states apart from WA are now open as are the international borders.
How we go from here only time will tell.

But the rule now, no jab no job, no entertainment, works for the greater majority.

AS of 2359 hours tonight the majority of our rules will go.
We will be 90% fully done for all over 12 in Victoria, by December 15th it will be about 95%.

The national numbers will be about the same.

Freedom he cried, but for how long, well how long is a piece of string he said>

    Victoria, up to 1230 today.
But hospital numbers way down at about 300 from over 800 a couple of weeks back.

But where are they coming from if we are at 90% fully vaccinated?

Are they people who have contracted it even though vaccinated?

    So yes we have freedom.

Freedoms just another word for nothing left to loose.
Freedom aint for nothing but it s free!!!!!

Figures here in Victoria are being questioned by some Victoria.
There has been comparison with NSW and some say the figures here do not jell.
With vac rate sat over 90% the question has been asked who are these who keep coming up.
Down to just over 800 today, but of the 19 deaths only two with first shot, the others none including the 100 year old!!

NZ must be in some form of real trouble as Air NZ has cancelled over 1,000 flights between NZ and OZ.

    Hi Victoria.
According to some news stories I have read, Europe can expect another 2million deaths from Covid next year, as unlike us, who are still using masks although most dislike them, we may escape the worst of it.

Best be careful, some reckoned it would be all over in a few weeks a year and a half ago:

Six African countries are being added to the red list as the UK Health Security Agency investigates a new "more transmissable" Covid variant.

Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Sajid Javid revealed the news on Thursday.

    Just advising.

Speaking to my niece in Germany, the Government are talking about bringing in new legislation to combat anti-vaxers.
Under the new legislation if you refuse vaccination and catch covid, pay stops until recovered.
    Good idea or not?

Doubt some will take note but, will this virus worry about money ?
Early theories on the plague told of it being spread by postal workers
    tongues used to moisten stamps.

This covid still has given few clues but wash your hands just in case.

Here in Oz it has become very simple in most industries.
No Vaccination no job, now made a term of employment.

Only fair that if we wish to get over this then all must play their part.

I thought most EU countries had Vaccinated far more than they have, but only average of just over 60%.

WE began late here in Oz but most states at least 80% and heading national for 95%.

The cases in Africa, I wonder.
As my GP, a Fiji/Indian told me, 'there are diseases in South Africa and India the medical people still do not understand.
