    National Poetry Day.

Today is National Poetry Day. Lieutenant Wilfred Owen is a name that is forever associated with First World War poetry specifically his poem Dulce et decorum est.

More about Owen, alongside other war poets, and perhaps the most famous poem of the 14-18 War, here: https://blog.cwgc.org/blog/commemora...-the-great-war

Hi Keith. The Shore Bosun is a great reader of poetry of all spheres. If war poetry is of interest to you this is one she has. The Oxford Book of War Poetry it covers from the dawn of time to the present. I just tend to browse.
