Exclamation HELP! Nautical Poetry lovers please read!

    Dear MN Friends

I was wondering if you could help me? I am desperately trying to find a poem about a watchkeeper at sea I read a few years ago.

All I remember about it is that it was very short (4 or 5 lines I think?) and ended with something similar to or along the lines of “times past and jobs done”.

I read it in a small nautical poetry book that would have been bought at a typical high street book shop as a Christmas stocking filler, for example.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

    Many thanks

    Default Will Keep Looking

Sorry, no good news as yet, have attempted but failed. First thoughts on advice was: Can you remember any more ? As you know the more info given the better. However, that would not work here as if the poem is really short anymore you could remember, would likely be the whole thing.

Hopefully again, you may remember in time or we on site may come across it, certainly have tried and will keep at it. Strange really, I find all to be like the local bus, nothing for an age, then three come at once. Fingers crossed. Best wishes Keith.
