How can I be mortal?
Something I wrote in a cheap Thai hotel room about thirty years ago. Short and.......
How can I be Mortal? - I am ME
How in all Creation can this be?
When young I was Immortal
I could stride through any portal
And the future was Forever - don't you see?

Re: How can I be mortal?
Braid I am sure Brian will like that one, it is his desire to be the longest living mortal ever, and he takes exercises to do this. Has even stayed away from Whitley Bay as believes in the theory of Samson and Delilah where she pinched his mortality by cutting off his hair. No doubt you will get answering prose from various on site, Cappy was a good artist, though wont say what sort, to start with may be in Geordie but will rhyme, most Geordie words can be made to Rhyme. I think your words should have been carried on with further verses. Poetry always seems to be in fashion. Regards JS
