Lord Prescott
Labour deputy PM Lord Prescott was finally laid to the rest today.
He was famous for his wit and sense of humour.
Supposed to have said the only Tory I would back is Frankie Dettori
Also known as John two Jags, well he had two Jags to see him off today.
Did alright for someone who went from Steward to Deputy Prime Minister

Re: Lord Prescott
Talking about John Prescott, I remember a person I shall not name, going to the union office in the royal docks. He'd had his discharge book taken away temporarily while being investigated for something that hadn't happened. He was advised by a union official to talk to a "Johnny Prescot" in the corner, about his problem. This Prescot bloke told him to go next door to the pub and ask for so and so. In the pub he was advised to pay a sum to obtain a monkey discharge book. This done, he received the said document a week or two later, and proceeded to ship out from KG5. More adventure followed, but he kept them to himself for fear of consequences, so I can tell no more about the event. He eventually got his original book back after proving his innocence.
I often wondered if this was the same "John Prescott"?

Easy to pick out 1 guy Mo what about the rest who voted.
Parliament voted on the amended text in a vote at 9:15 pm, but the amendment was defeated by 396 to 217 votes.
At 10 pm, the motion without the amendment was passed by 412 to 149 votes, therefore signifying Parliament's approval of an invasion. The British military campaign against Iraq, known as Operation Telic, began one day later.
So not just John Prescott.
