Re: Southport Murders
3 children murdered a week ago by a deranged 17 year old, 5 children still in hospital along with 2 adults likely with life changing injuries.
Dougie , you have been itching to start with your political rancour again sometime, crack on Dougie.
Not interested in what you have to say.

Re: Southport Murders
Think it was 1962 I did the Merchant Navy Defence Course. Expectations of war were very close , and on the out break of such were told , no ports would be open, any discharging or loading of cargoes would be off the beaches and law and order would be the civil defence. Two thirds of the country would be wiped off in the first nucleur wave of bombing , that was 62 years ago maybe they are still clinging on to the old plans of engagement. Anti nucleur shelters of course for the higher ups. Cheers JS

Re: Southport Murders
If a normal person had done that and damaged the microphone he would be sued for damages. Is the newshound pressing charges. Sounds like your police chief is in the wrong job. Or maybe wants out and the pension as an alternative. Obvious wasn’t brought up in the Dixon of Dock Green era. Cheers JS

Re: Southport Murders
The problem is people like Starmer who insist anyone who has even mild preoccupations with the level of immigration (both legal & illegal) as "right wing" and of course anyone taking part in a march of protest is a "thug".
Finally...today (7/Aug) Police are actually tackling violent demonstrations by the ****** sector.......it's taken a week of criticism at their "Two-Tier-Policing" where, during the last week, they were blatantly maurauding the streets waving machetes with impunity.
All violence is to be condemned in any society..... But Two-Tier-Keir Starmer has exacerbated the situation to the point where criticism of his actions (or rather, lack of them) has escalated the anger.
As you mention: He has ignored the obvious such as the Manchester Arena bombing....The London Bus and Tube attacks, the horrors of the Madrid train bombings..... The decapitation of soldier Lee Rigby... plus the more recent attack on a soldier in Surrey...The massacre in Paris.
In his pre election propaganda he claimed he could stop the "boat people" crossing the Channel: Nothing achieved so far, in fact the crossings have increased.
As a Prime Minister, he has shown his true colours. Indeed....the future for the UK is extremely bleak.
A browse on You Tube....of independent News Sources..... ie... NOT THE BBC....will show the reality & gravity of this situation. (Forget looking to the Daily Mail or Express: They are following orders from Downing St., obviously. )

Re: Southport Murders
Would appear the planned protests did not go as planned last night.
Looks like our gang is bigger than your gang had a significant impact on the other group of bully boys.
I wonder if the sentences handed down by the crown court in Liverpool yesterday.
Perhaps made some of those who might well have decided to reconsider
Liam Riley 20 months, Derek Drummond 3 years and Declan Geiran 30 months.
All 3 pleaded guilty had best pray they do not get to share a cell with some other chap who may not share the same views.
Looks like the courts are going to come down hard on those who arrested.

Re: Southport Murders
Sorry guys but what does smashing shop windows looting goods and setting fire to police cars have to do with a protest against immigration. If you want to protest go ahead have a meeting/march with banners etc at least in this country you can do that but we do not need the destruction and violence.

Re: Southport Murders
"Forgetting about the past 14 years of Tory 'misrule' "...Why ?
"Labour has secured 412 seats and the largest majority government in 25 years after historic general election results"
Take a deep breath and try living with the democratic verdict of the people !!
