Southport Murders

I think this heinous crime has really rocked the town of Southport, it has brought out the compassion and support of all the Town . However it has also burst the great carbuncle which is just below he surface of British society spewing hate and poison in all directions. I would urge all to purge our society of this poisonous hate,instead concentrate on healing our fractured Land and support the people of Southport a beautiful seaside town which deserves a lot more joy and peace than it has had in the recent days

Here in Aus; Queensland police carry a wand that they can just sweep around a person that will tell them if he r she have a hidden knife, Here in N.S.W. they have been talking about dong the same' but so far that is all they have been dong taiking.

Another factor re police response is, getting rid of the minimum height and shape of new recruits. Some of our coppers look a bit ridiculous, if we ever see them on the streets. Little, or tall, fat or skinny blokes, little fat women, some are a laughing stock, that could only use their radio to call for help, after attending a persons call for help. I've seen it on occasions, where tourists in London have had a great laugh at our coppers on the beat. In the old days, you'd be too scared or stupid not to obey.

Yes the days of being frightened of a copper have gone even out here. I remember climbing on the cemetery wall ad the village policeman {What's that I hear you say} came out of his house opposite and shouted at use to get down,then started jogging towards us we scarpered down the Common but he was following us, after about half an hour we sat down exhausted, and the bugger went past, he played rugby and was out for his training run.
As for tazzers, the copper who tazzered the 93 year old woman down the road who died; still hasn't been tried in court, I think he will get a suspended sentence, he should criminals do.

When first came here asked one of the neighbours what to do if had a break in and was confronted by an armed villain . He was a police officer. He said if I was you and had a firearm in the house then use it, but make sure he is dead before you call us. I thought he was joking , maybe he wasn’t. However thinking about it in a financial way if left living you would probably be left paying recompense for the rest of your life. I have always taken the attitude that if faced in such a situation I would have no second thoughts about squeezing the trigger pointed at the centre of the target. I had two break ins in my previous house and if had caught him in the act would have done my best to break his neck armed or not. I think a cops job is hard enough without having to go up against morons with firearms only too keen to use , they should be obliterated as don’t belong in this world. JS

A copper told a neighbor up in Sydney when asked what would happen if I stabbed someone breaking into my house; was told; make sure you DON'T stab him in the back that means he was running away, turn him around and stab him in the stomach; that would show he was confronting you.

There was a case a while back. An Indian shop owner or may have been a post office was robbed ad assualted. The criminal legged it. The shop owner phoned his brother who lived futher along the road. His brother waited with a cricket bat behind his back. He knocked the criminal for 6, Indians are handy with a cricket bat.
Police arrived and arrested the robber but I think they also arrested the guy with the bat.
Anyway it went to court and I am sure the case for assault by the guy with the bat was dimissed.

Mean while the people of Southport have rallied round their community repairing the damage done by the EDL thugs.
I believe in Liverpool last night again the community rallied round and confronted another bunch of scumbags who had planned a rally outside a Mosque .
The scumbags buggered off as they appeared to be out numbered some what, police thankfully kept them apart.

The riot act should be read and those caught infringing the riot act banged up for a long time.
Mind you the police need to arrest those who actually caused the trouble and not like the South Yorkshire police did at the miners strike at Orgreave in 1984.

Downing Street yesterday confirmed that Starmer would not be going on holiday this week and he is today going to convene the first meeting of the Civil Contingencies Committee (COBR).

I am sure he will go on holiday at some stage during the recess. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy
