Mrs Sacoolas's husband was an American intelligence officer based at RAF Croughton.
President Donald Trump himself speaking about the incident in October 2019, describing it as a "terrible accident" while conceding it was a "very complex issue" due to Sacoolas' claim of diplomatic immunity.
She was never going to jail why did she just not behave like a decent human being and come back to face the music. At least that might have gone a long way in helping Harry Dunns mother get some closure.

The US has said its decision to refuse an extradition request for Harry Dunn's alleged killer was final.
It comes after an Interpol Red Notice was issued for US national Anne Sacoolas who is now "wanted internationally".
A US official said she had diplomatic immunity, but Downing Street branded the refusal "a denial of justice".
The Interpol Red notice means she can be arrested if she leaves the US.
Perhaps it was a pay back for the from the UK when dithered about sending him to the US.

I have just read an article by a woman reporter who I have respected for years.
She printed, {Not her account but the women } of the Rape allegations against Assange, the two women involved had sex willingly, there was no rape, their complaint at a later date, and in all probability coerced, was that he didn't use a condom, if he had been arrested he would have been on the first CIA flight to the States.
