Here in Melbourne a number of students are holed up in one of the buildings.
Claim they are supporting Palestine and think the gov should do more to help the situation.

But are they supporting Palestine, or are they being anti sematic under another guise?

The uni has the largest number of Jewish students and staff of all Victoria's unis.

Thye have been attacked and harassed by other students, to the extent that Jewish students and staff have been told to work and study at home for the foreseeable future

#127 If any of those students are alien to Australia John, then I would suggest they return home immediately and convey their feelings to their own government. The Australian government is elected there by Australian citizens to look after Australian interests and not for them to forment unrest in a healthy environment. As I said any University and it’s bag of miscontents should be shutdown and those having no claim to residence part sooner than later or face deportation, which any government of whatever hue, should be considering right now. The fact of this is that all those students acting in this manner are home grown.
A spokesman for overseas students, the majority of whom are from Asia, made a statement that they would not engage in such a manner as they are only guests in the country.

I hope his comments come true.
