UK PM Rishi Sunack.
Scotland,1st Minister Humza Yousaf.
Wales, first minister elect Vaughan Gething.
N Ireland, first minister Michelle O’Neill Irish nationalist SF
Republic of Ireland Leo Varadkar.

If you were born and lived in India you could have been dead a long time; from disease, starvation, malnutrition, or trod on by an elephant. If you were born into the right upper-class caste, these would have been eliminated, you would have plenty to eat and would have been the owner or a passenger on the elephant.

Not for me, the closest I want to get to India is a bowl of home-made curry and a fortune cookie with good news.

The one thing I could never eat was curry, the smell of it on the BTC tankers every breakfast time didn't put me off my egg and bacon, but it was something I could have done without. My wife likes a light curry but she takes my stew out of the pot before she puts any in for herself.
Can't remember ever having a meal while in India.

I went to pre sea school with a couple of lads names were Curry and the other one Rice very appropriate to a recent post about Blue Funnel as they both went there together if on same ship can just imagine their nick names something like Cochin and Bombay or a couple of the many different titles of this course usually found with every meal. Don’t forget the Dahl . JS

Rodders, never been to India, you have missed so much............not.

Bombay airport did it for me, there are some 2 trillion flies in India, all but one got onto that aircraft we were on while we sat on the tarmac, doors open, no air conditioning and no drink for two hours.

But I do like the Indian restaurants here in Oz, no flies on them
