Re: BBC Question Time
Knowing our bolloticians, we would probably end up paying Scotland billions till the end of time. A bit like when we left the EU, but in reverse.

While you do have a point, the Scottish people have contributed their share with their UK taxes to a large proportion of the infrastructure already in place for many years. It would be nigh on impossible to divvy up fairly, but there is a very large proportion of the population south of the border who do not know the meaning of the United Kingdom, as far as they are concerned everything is English, boils my p-ss when I hear people refering to the "English navy, army etc.

Re: BBC Question Time
That is exactly the point Tony. Scotland has been paying into the UK coffers for centuries, just like us and everyone else in the UK. It's not England, it's all of us. All my Scottish mates think this idea of breaking away is bunkum, but, like myself, let em go and do their thing. It's not like the UK leaving the EU, because we were only in it for a few years, and it just didn't suit us, so we pulled out by democratically voting ourselves out, that included "all" of the UK, by "all" voters in the UK.
Wales will do the same thing before long, as will N.I. when they become Ireland again. No doubt some bolloticians will succeed in their striving for independence, how it'll turn out for the people? we can only guess.

Re: BBC Question Time
Which British regiment was known as Pontius Pilate's bodyguard?.
Well I will tell you, it was the Royal Scots the oldest Infantry Regiment in the British Army. I would also say many Englishmen were proud to serve in the regiment.

How can it be that the children of immigrants, once so glad to be in a place of liberty, now want to dismember the nation that gave them a home?

Re: BBC Question Time
We read over here that a certain Hamza Youseff ( or whatever his name is ) , the SNP leader in Scotland has introduced a bill banning hate speeches whilst
he himself has appeared on film complaining that all top jobs in Scotland are filled by " whites ".
Has nobody ever told this numpty that Scotland is a WHITE christian country. How has Scotland sunk so low ?.

Re: BBC Question Time
In 1700 Scotland almost bankrupted itself after trying to set up a colony in Panama, rescued by the English banks of the time. Shortly after the act of union was passed.
