#29 putting a British crew on board wouldn’t alter the fact that whoever was master on the vessel would not have a lien on the vessel the same as the crew who would still have the first right to payments above all other standing debts. If you had your name on the ships register and the owners werent available then you were it. That was the maritime law as I saw it at that era of time . Which also meant that your assets could have been seized to help pay the overdraft, if the real owners did a moonlight flit. Cheers JS

As regards the drill ship laid up in Port Talbot what year are we talking about ? In 1966 I was 29 you by your CV are 12 years younger. So would have been 17. So assume we are now talking about the late 70s at the very least, probably much later ? Cheers JS

The Greens, have a great deal to answer for as their initiatives have brought about these actions. I read a report last year highlighting the cost to the UK the Green Party causes have inflicted on our nation it was Billions of £££'s.
