According to U Tube, Denzil Washington and the blind Spanish singers are both dead.

But to date no such info anywhere in the news.
    So who writes it all??

They love it, just love it, when people repeat this kind of rubbish on any site, it perpetuates the crap they like people to not only to read but pass on and on, because they know that the people who do this will keep doing it.
And this does not elude to the tall tales we all put on this site from our time at sea, as those with the knowledge of the times know..

But Des, we know how we got on at sea even if those ashore do not believe it.

Tell them you sometimes did a 14 hour day and they think you are joking.

With the wonder of fake internet news, and AI, and it seems the Russian people believe everything that Putin tells them, i am surprised that no one has fed the Russian public a story that Putin goes to bed with a 6ft Chief Stoker, that might combat his macho image, with the appropriate photo of course.

14 hours? Ha! Try two sittings on the tourist gallop feeding hungry Yarpies on a UCL boat, strapping up, relaying tables, not forgetting 6am beer carry and scrub outs. Happy Days.

I remember being in the Great Eastern Hotel in Calcutta in 1971 ,the Bar was full of reporters there for the Indo Pakistani war , they were all their reporting from the front line . Which was in Bangladesh a 100 miles away. The Reuters reporter came into the Bar after having been up at the line and the all started to Quiz him about what he had witnessed .the ones who were sober enough scurried of to file there eye witness report . The moral being I suppose is go to Reuters as it is not fake news
    Regards Doug
