Some job for window cleaner there then, I wonder will they have machine guns on the bridge to dissaude the sea gulls.
Do not know if these are real photos or computer generated.
Not forme sailing on the likes of that. Looks more like a theme park than a ship. Regardless still some fete of engineering.12357483_102122-wls-cruise-img.jpgroyal-caribbean-ship-new-950x530.jpg

We often go on a cruise, 2-3 times a year, but the boats are getting bigger all the time. I liked the Oriana size boats, but they seem to be getting rid of that sort of cruising. Now they're all just huge Butlins camps, not proper cruising at all. All I like doing is finding a spot on deck with nobody's elbows digging mine, just relaxing in the sun, then a quiet drink in the evening. Even the food seems to be going down the pan lately, along with the cabin stewards numbers being cut.
Got some booked, but cancelled one due to it being a bigun.

There was a time when Royal Carribean had some smaller ships of quality.
But now they work on the principal of one size fits all, not for me though..
Ships of up to about 3700 are fine, after that just too big.
For that reason we currently only cruise with Princess Cruises.

Along with many others on site. I prefer to keep my memories of the sea in my mind and not try to chase a dream that can never come true. Have heard that they alter course to avoid any rough weather for safety sake as the ships are just to unsteady. Rough calculations on this new one. I make it around eight thousand people on board all up and that would mean a bloody lot of life boats to cater for that many for sure. No much prefer to just book into a casino or really up market hotel that go on one of those monstrocities or any modern ship in fact. Still remenice at night thinking how I used to get rocked to sleep of a night like a little child. Is it true that to just get table service now it costs extra as I heard that you have to line up at the buffet and help yourself. Can just imagine that with all those olds with mobility problems like most of us have. Just thinking of it brings a grin to the old boat race.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

I think they are looking to the future, one could anchor all those giants of the sea in the Pacific somewhere and all the Islanders could live on them, no problem with the rising sea levels on those Islands. Just let out some more chain. Time to look to the future.

Most parts of the pacific Des is up to several miles in depth would never have enough chain to even reach and the AHSV to position such. Could however position them on the sat nav system, maybe you should suggest it to them . Cheers JS
