Must be a lot of knife wielding scum in London as 1.2 million of them voted him in.

My wife was an administrator in a care home, there was one particular councillor who was notorious for only turning up to events where there were "refeshments" and necking as many as possible before leaving for another event in the town.

Doesn't take much working out James. Go back 60 years or more, and count the young men that prowled our streets, mugging all and sundry with guns and knives. Then their kids were steaming on the trains and mugging on the streets. Now their grandkids are even better at it, as are the great grandkids.
It's called "Culture" and we've been encouraged to embrace all "Cultures".
Most people in and around London have learned to live with these "Cultures"

That's how many voted. I wonder how many could vote but didn't, plus those not eligible to vote? Then of course we have those not eligible to vote, but do vote. All part of the "Culture".

Re: Twice as bad
James we have the bloody preferential voting system here in Oz and it stinks.
There was an instant not long ago where a new MP got in with only10% of the primary vote, preferences got him over the line.
Go back to the days of the Kray twins, nice lads at heart having met one a real gentleman in public.
Crime then was mainly against the system, banks, jeweler's etc.
Then came the 'new culture' brought about by new migrants mainly, to some life is very cheap..
Heer in Oz we have many of the migrants from good countries and crimes are not so high.
But on occasions we hear of gangs doing the rounds.
Thankfully they end up in care of the lads in blue who when required take action on the spot then take them in for questioning.
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Re: Twice as bad
I see the EU is arguing among its self, Italy is coping with the masses of migrants entering from Africa, they are trying to pass them on to France, France has suspended its membership of Schengen, and stopping them at the border, and taking them back to Italy. Interesting that France is sending them back, but when we were in the EU we still could not send them back to France, so what comes around bites back, sympathy ?, nixt.

Re: Twice as bad
Closer to home there is a disgrace that is still not formally recognised.
There were the Highland Clearances where men, women and children were forced from their ancestral homes and either resettled in coastal poor farming areas or loaded onto the holds of ships in terrible conditions where they were transported to the Carolinas and Caribbean plantations and were indentured to work there.
Many very young children died on these ships and were thrown overboard.
To this day the poorest sections of Trinidadian society have Highland ancestry.
