    Default Freezing

Cooma reached 11 below last night, but up here on our hill it reached Minus13, I'm glad that the Earth has started its move back towards Sun
this morning, our bedroom windows had sheet ice on the inside. Going to be a hefty bill for power.

Indeed cold there Des , as here too down to Minus 6 and thats bad enough. We even had Water Flow problems with the Pipes Freezing overnight, so no water this Morning! But all back on now so thats something! Coldest here in Years at this time, it normally gets cold in June July, but this was a bit worse than normal!
As fot the Powe Bill this Quater well?? As well now just got an Email from Origin, giving the new Electricity Rates and Gas! Gone up by 21% from July 1st. Dont know how some poorer Folk are going to manage with this cold Winter and the Higher Bills they will get. Eeeeek!!!

Cold down here in Melbourne but not that cold.
Had warm spell up to last weekend, then it hit.
Snow on local mount Macedon, nice for them just keep it there.
Coldest night about 4 degrees, some frost in parts and coldest day so far of 11.5.
Shortest day today so hopefully will get better.
Off the UK on July 5 so no worries for us, four weeks of somewhat better weather.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

John hope you get good weather for your UK trip. June has been glorious with highs in some areas 27 degrees. Just had a few localised thunder storms yesterday some areas efffected by flash floods.

Have a nice trip John, and remember if you visit Wales wear a leek in your collar, save you stopping for a meal.

Des, last time I had a leek it was in one of my boots.
But they are a very popular and versatile veg.
